Most of you will say it's the music.. but what else. remember these 4 things.

  1. Dance can be a part of divine worship (Psalm 150:4).
  2. Dance is an appropriate expression of community joy (1 Samuel 18:6).
  3. Dance should not promote inappropriate sexual arousal (Exodus 32:6, 19; 1 Corinthians 10:7, 8).
  4. Dancing, like any activity in which the Christian engages, should bring honor to God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Everyone jumps up and down to a song, even people in the old testement danced for joy and they jumped up and down. If it brings sexual arousal then no.

i read your discussin & i jz like to give my personal opinion...i dont think there something wrong with dancing...especially it is one of many ways of showing affection/emotion to someone....& everyone today is expose to dancing,, sometimes it is also done as a form of exercise; in parties; schools; almost everywhere,,,it seems dancing is jz an ordinary thing...even for christians,,, it's what the world does today...BUT! i read a verse found in Romans 12:2,, and i think this teaching is better than doing what everybody else does, that we shouldn't be conformed to the world but be trasformed by the renewing of the spirit.....(^___^)
