At the beginning of this year, on the breezy slopes of Mt. Olympus, Greece, a small flicker of flame was transferred from an eternally burning fire onto a hand held lantern. This was the flame that would light the torch that would pass from one country to another and eventually light the Olympic torch in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Olympic torch relay calls the people of the world to come together for the Olympics. In Psalm 104:4 we are told that God "makes winds his messengers and flames of fire his servants." God is calling His servants to come together for Just Claim It 2, April 7-11. To symbolize God calling His "flames of fire" we launch the Prayer Torch Relay. The Prayer Torch Relay will be a virtual "passing" of the God's call from one NAD Conference to another, culminating at the JCI Opening General Session, with the lighting of the Prayer Torch on April 7. We invite you to join us, beginning February 27 as the Prayer Torch leaves NAD Youth Ministries HQ in Silver Spring, Maryland and moves on to the next conference.
