Good morning Saints of God. Love is more than a word. Jesus asks us to “love your neighbor as yourself. “ Love is an easy word to say but at times not so easy to act. But love is an action word. We get confused with the definition that love is a feeling. It is true that love is a feeling but this feeling should cause you to act. Love without action is just a four-letter word. We all can say we have the feeling of love but do we have the action. It is hard when we live in a time of materialism, selfishness, and self-gratification. We are indulged in all the things going on around us that we sometimes miss our neighbor. Also, we are sometimes sick in the body, the mind, or both. These things prevent us for caring for others. The servant of the lord tells us that taking care of our body is essential to serving God. She is not saying that diet or exercise saves us, but it will give us the health and clear mind to serve him and others. Today let us make an effort to show love and not just say the word.
