Romans 8: 8-13
8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Good morning my brothers and sisters. What a day to be alive and know the lord. It is cold outside and dark, but God will warm and light the inside of our hearts. You know our faith starts off with just simple belief. It is so simple but we make it so hard. Jesus says call on him. As a young man, sometimes I struggle with things being that simple. Sometimes I try this diet, read a certain book, witness to a certain group and I think that it will save me. I have to realize that works do not save. The blood of Jesus saves. My works are a result of his love in me, My works should not be me trying to save myself. Sisters and brothers, let the love of God enter and fill your mind today. Pray for those that hurt you. Know that this world is not your home. Pray God will give you energy to endure until He comes. Please add me as a friend.
