In our society, those with talent, education and wealth, those in control decide how everyone else will think and act. However, in God's eyes, things should be totally different. He calls leaders to be servants, not masters. People with positions of power are more obligated to serve their fellow citizens.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber!" and then "I am the Door. Anyone who goes in through Me will be saved from the punishment of sin. He will go in and out and find food." (John 10:1, 9 NLT, NLV).

It occurs to me that anyone who puts a system, ritual or a person in the place of Jesus is a robber.
