About me!
Well, what can I say about me...I love people in general. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, and thrill seeking guy. I still love roller coasters, water sports, and playing with children. I love the outdoors! I am also an indoor person too. I love reading, cooking (when I can), desserts are my favorite, love hanging with family, and of course I love serving my God and His church. I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. I moved to "The States" when I was only 5 years old. I grew up in Norwalk, CT and graduated from the best high school in the world, Norwalk High School; home of the Bears! I was in the Band and AFJROTC the whole 4 years. After graduating in June 1995, I joined the US Navy and traveled the world. I've been to Rota & Barcelona, Spain; Rome, Naples, and Brindisi, Italy; Cairo, Egypt; Corfu, Greece; Palermo, Sicily; San Jaun, Puerto Rico; and traveled through The Straits of Gibraltar or Strog. I served aboard the USS Wasp (LHD 1). After disembarking from the Wasp, I was assigned to Chambers Field NAS Norfolk, VA before the command was decommissioned. After completing my service in the US Navy, I relocated to Huntsville, AL to attend Oakwood College where I double majored in Ministerial Theology & Business Admin. I completed 2 years of study before moving to the West coast. While at Oakwood I served 2 churches as Associate Pastor & Youth Pastor. I completed the Lay-Pastoral Certification Program through the Southern Union Conference. I've traveled all over the USA preaching the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ. I've preached in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, California, and home in Jamaica. My first evangelistic crusade was in Lakewood, NJ under Pastor Ron Hobson. 15 souls were baptized there in 2000. I moved to Los Angeles, California in 2002 to assist in an area-wide evangelistic crusade with renowned Pastor/Evangelist E. Lonnie Melashenko. Over 100+ souls were baptized as a result of a team effort with hundreds of workers. In April 2004 I accepted a call to serve as Assistant Dean of Boys/Chaplain for a private boarding school in Grass valley, CA called "The Ranch". This was an outstanding opportunity for me to spread my wings in the challenging field of working with troubled, at-risk, ADD, ADhD, ODD, and substance abused children. Our age group was 12-17 year-old boys. I served for 18 months and learned a great deal. In addition, I have a deep respect for those persons working with troubled teens. We need more dedicated individuals who have a deep passion for helping our youth make right decisions, learn to respect themselves and others, grasp simple life skills, and build their self esteem so they can become positive citizens in society that effect change. "The Ranch" moved its facility from Grass Valley to the Chico, CA area. As I did not want to move with them, and chose to further my education and ministry career, I resigned in 2005 and relocated to Sacramento, CA where I continued to serve in Pastoral Ministry and as Youth Director. In January 2007, I returned to Huntsville, AL where I currently reside. I am enrolled at Harvard University presently. Through their Extension School, I am taking a World Religions course. I will, by the grace of God, relocate to Cambridge, MA in the summer to complete my Bachelors of Liberal Arts in Religion degree by Fall 2010. I hope to complete my M.Div at Andrews University; I will then work in Pastoral Ministry and/or Military Chaplaincy.
