Greetings to All in Christ!

Greetings to all! my name is Richie and I am a student studying to become a reggae producer. I am Adventist and the school I go to doesn't have a lot of Adventists. So here I am (invited by a friend), I would like to fellowship and get to know people :)

Alittle About Me:

I was born in St. Croix, USVI and moved to the States at an early age. The first church I ever attended was an SDA church in winter park, FL known as Patmos Chapel. Later I became a baptized member of Emmanuel SDA church in Orlando, FL. I play the drums for my home church whenever I can come down from school on the weekends to have fellowship and worship. I currently attend BCU (Bethune Cookman University) majoring in my Bachelor's of Arts in Music Engineering/Production. It is my goal/dream to own my own studio and produce positive, uplifting, and also spiritual Caribbean music. Now that you know alittle about me, tell me little about you! ;)

Me: Lord, Why, why must I endure so much hardship? Why must I go through the things I go through, to experience the things I must. It almost feels like I'm being punished, whipped, disciplined. But why.....why is this happening? Sometimes Lord, I wonder why, I try to be the best I can, and live my life accordingly. At times, I just want to give up, the discipline feels so overwhelming.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
This is one of the first bible versus we learned. Have you really ever thought about this text. Do you know what it takes to lose a love one. It causes extreme pain and grief. God endures this for us. The pain of watching a child die. But, He did get up. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us. As we go through life today lets make an effort to remember Christ and the pain he endured for us. Ask the Holy sprit to give us strength to walk as he did. Pray every chance you get. Every time you get a break pray and ask God to help you to live. He will hear and provide comfort no matter what the situation. Please add me as a friend.
