This is just a quick little announcement to share that my younger sister's debut album, New Life, is now available. Jessica Fisher's CD feaures all new, original music written by Seventh-day Adventists.

Two songs, including the song the album title comes from, Simple Yes or No and New Life were adapted by Jessica from beautiful poems written by a young single mother who literally walked into our church in California on Sabbath and then, after months of Bible study, was baptized with her two older children. Another song, Your Precious Blood, was a re-write to a classic hymn done by a gentleman who works with Adventist Pioneer Missions. Come Thou Fount of Amazing Grace is a beautiful medley of two of my sister's favorite hymns: Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing and Amazing Grace.

I wrote two songs specifically for the album: Whispers of Love (a favorite at live concerts) and Songs of Deliverance. I really enjoyed writing the songs and instructing the producers on the music. My sister wrote Today I Give to You and we co-wrote Upper Room Experience, based on her experiences in the Prayer Room at the GYC 2010 Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. She performed that song a capella at the New Year's prayer service at the GYC 2011 Conference in Houston, Texas.
